Iago Bitarishvili is one of Georgia's most respected natural winemakers. Working from his family's historic village in Mtskheta, Iago crafts minimal-intervention wines that express the true character of the Chinuri grape. His Qvevri are buried beneath his family home, just as they have been for generations. Visiting Iago means experiencing wine as it was made 8,000 years ago.
